3. What if my child isn't interested in the main activity? While we encourage all the students to be involved in the enrichment activity, we understand that some activities aren’t their personal interest. As part of our commitment to treat each student as an individual, we have other activity options available.
4. Do you offer snacks or do I need to provide? Yes, we offer kosher snacks. If your child has special dietary restrictions, please contact the office to discuss.
5. How do I get bussing? To be eligible for free bussing from Lakeside or Birch, your child must be registered for a minimum of 4 days per week for the full semester. The school district has a deadline for bussing, so we do ask families to sign up as soon as possible. Due to the proximity of Chatterton, a Chabad staff member will be picking up the children and walking them to the program.
6. Can we choose to enroll for 1 or 2 days as our schedule allows? Yes, subject to availability, you can opt in to as many days as needed. Please note, if you’d like to opt in for bussing from Lakeside/Birch to Chabad, your child must be enrolled for a minimum of 4 days a week.
7. If I register now and want to opt out, will I get a refund? Yes, if you choose to withdraw before July 1st, then you will be refunded your deposit less the $30 registration fee, per child. If you withdraw after July 1st, your tuition will be prorated and you will get a refund for the remainder of the school year, less $150 and rhe $30 registration fee, per child. All cancellation requests should be made via email, [email protected].
8. What happens if we need to change the schedule days after registering? We will always do our best to accommodate changes. As long as space and staffing allows, you can change the day after registering.
9. Is your program dependent care FSA-eligible? Yes! At the end of the year, you can request your bill for the semester and apply it towards your FSA.
10. Did you know about our referral program? Share your love of the CKids after-school program with friends! If they sign up and join in on the fun, as a thank you for your kind words, you will get a $250 credit* towards your tuition at the end of the year.
