Cooking for Hope is  an amazing opportunity for our community’s teens
to come together for an incredible cause while having fun and learning to cook at the same time!

During each session, teens will have the opportunity to learn to cook a variety of Kosher dishes,  all the while bringing hope and happiness to those coping with illness.

Circle of Hope, a project of the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, is a non-profit organization that provides awareness, emotional support and hands-on help to individuals and their families coping with breast cancer and other illnesses.

The best part of Cooking for Hope is that after the teens learn to cook and bake, they can personally deliver the dishes to community members who are not well. A cheerful visit with a home-cooked care package can do wonders. If you know of someone in need of a home-cooked meal (whether recovering from surgery, birth, or going through illness or other challenging situations), please let us know as well so that we can arrange to deliver a meal/meals to them.

Cooking for Hope sessions are held on the 3rd or 4th Wednesday of each month, beginning in October, 2021.  Join us for the opportunity to cook a variety of Kosher dishes, all the while bringing hope and happiness to those coping with illness.

If you or someone you know is a teenager interested in joining, please click  here to register.
Adult women who enjoy cooking have the opportunity to lead a cooking session or assist with the cooking/packing up of the food. Please  register as well.

This program takes place at the Chabad Center for Jewish Life at 2174 Hewlett Ave, Merrick, NY 11566
