UPDATE: Dec 2021:

With the recent uptick in Covid-19 cases and the Omicron variant, the Chabad Center for Jewish life is dedicated to helping our community overcome challenges related to the virus any way we can.

Please note the following:

We are not medical professionals, but we have helped many people in various ways, such as helping find covid test locations/visits, getting patients in touch with doctors who specialize in treating covid patients, helping to find monoclonal antibody treatment locations, loaning out pulse oximeters, and more.

If you or a loved one is experiencing covid symptoms or  tested positive for Covid-19, it is important that symptoms get treated during the early stages.

Here are some resources that can help you. If you aren't sure how to proceed, you can contact us to help you along, but please do not come to our office-rather, call us at 516-833-3057 ext. 0 or email [email protected].

Some pointers:

*If someone has covid, it's important to monitor your oxygen saturation level daily to ensure it is within normal range. We have pulse oximeters (which monitor the oxygen saturation levels) available at our office and are lending them out when needed. If you borrowed one in the past, please return it to our office.

*If you need a Covid PCR test at home, telehealth for Covid symptoms/post-covid complications, or antibody/spike protein testing, contact Preventive Cardiac Care (Dr Schechter) on their Covid Hotline at 718-25-COVID (26843). You can also WhatsApp them at this number 24/6.
For rapid and PCR tests you can also contact the numbers below.
Arianna Muskatt - 516-287-7933 (West Hempstead)
Alan - 516-835-4541 - (Woodmere - Home visits available)

Mobile Covid Testing: 917-923-4417  (Far Rockaway)
If the above options don't work for you, contact the Chabad office.

*If you are trying to get Monoclonal Antibody Treatment, it is most effective within the first 96 hours of illness onset.  Here are 2 contacts:

1. Covid Plasma Initiative at 828-4-Plasma (75-2762)
2. 5 Mabs Monoclonal Antibody Treatment 917-509-6962

If the above numbers are not helpful, please contact our office and we will help connect you with another agency.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us here at Chabad AT 516-833-3057 ext. 0.
