Cindy Knoll Circle of Hope

Circle of Hope offers support groups in a lovely, homelike suite where patients form an educational network and connect with others undergoing similar treatments. Being able to discuss challenges and solutions in a warm, understanding setting, with the help of a knowledgeable, caring social worker, helps ease the burden on the patient and family.

The sessions guide patients through understanding their diagnosis, ways to communicate with family and friends about their diagnosis, the various methods of coping with the illnesses and their myriad treatment options including chemotherapy, radiation, pain management, exercise, nutrition, stress management and more.  The social worker provides information and encouragement to patients by connecting them with survivors who have gone through a similar course of treatment.

Sessions are appropriate for newly diagnosed individuals, those going through treatments, “previors” and survivors. Support groups are free and confidential. Pre-registration is required.
