We wanted to start by telling you how nice the end of the year party was yesterday. The zoom was extremely well organized and the outdoor party was perfectly set up for social distance while still providing a fun atmosphere.
We have been extremely happy with the Hebrew School as this was our first year. M Temira and Morah R were perfect teachers for the age group. They were always welcoming to the students and maintained appropriate activities for the age. G loved going to Hebrew School each week.
When Virtual Learning began we were not sure how this would work. Your staff quickly adapted the program and in our opinion it appeared to be successful. The students were engaged each week and were able to continue to learn. We are not sure how the other teachers organized their zooms, but Morah T did an excellent job. She would have all the students together and then she broke them up into smaller groups to give more individualized attention on the Hebrew reading. Honestly, this is where G started to excel. We are in utter shock that he is able to read Hebrew at his age and even went as far to include vowels and multiple letters together.
Thank you again for such a great year and for always putting so much effort into the programs you provide for the community.

After two weeks in your Hebrew School my son knows more than he learned in his entire Hebrew School education! His joy and excitement for Judaism is so apparent. I am amazed at how much knowledge you can impart in such a short lesson. Thank you for bringing the joys of Judaism alive for my son.

My son really enjoys Hebrew School. He looks forward to doing his Hebrew School homework with gusto. (If only he was so enthusiastic about his regular homework :-) Sometimes we have to bribe him — "Do your math homework and then you can do your Hebrew School homework!" His excitement is a true testament to your program.

Did you read the article in the Boston Globe the other day? It was about how bored kids are of Hebrew School, lower enrollments etc. and how Temples are trying to change their curriculum to keep kids interested. I am so thankful we’re with Chabad because I don’t see any boredom at all. The kids love going!!

Our house smells delicious—the smell of baking bread is probably one of the most wonderful smells ever!! My child is very excited to share the challah with the family tomorrow night for the holiday.

Thank you again for another great experience. My child was so excited leaving yesterday that she completed four pages of her workbook on the drive to her cousin's house. When she saw her family she was very excited to share what she learned, show them the backpack and the tokens she was awarded.

I love the Aleph Champ method of learning Hebrew. Riley is really learning how to read Hebrew with this program. It is a great system.

Before Covid, our son attended class in person and would ask to stay longer when it was pickup time. Throughout all of Covid, Chabad has gone above and beyond to transfer that same feeling onto zoom and keep our family connected. This is the place your kids will want to go. They have designed a good balance of fun and learning for the kids. The perfect recipe for Hebrew School.

Chabad Hebrew provides a wonderful stress-free learning environment for children of all different Judaic backgrounds. My son feels completely comfortable learning and asking questions without feeling judged and enjoys going every week. The fun and exciting activities that are planned as well as special incentives are great motivators for all the students as they work towards their individual goal!!
I am so happy with the Jewish learning that my children are receiving at the Chabad Hebrew School. My children look forward to Wednesday afternoons because it is Hebrew school. It brings me such joy knowing my children are getting a valued Jewish Education in a warm and nurturing environment.
I have to take some time and give a special thank you to Chanie Kramer and Rabbi Kramer. I have been fortunate to have known them about 5 years now when my 2 youngest attended daycare in their home.
My 3 children, 8,10 and 12, are now in their 3rd year of Hebrew school at Chabad and they LOVE IT!
They not only look forward to going each week, but the boys love the Bar Mitzvah club, led by the rabbi himself.
They are truly the most caring and wonderful people and the boys were so happy they passed the next level of reading Hebrew from the Aleph champ curriculum.
If anyone is Searching for a Hebrew school and does not belong to a synagogue or not sure of where to go I can assure you that you cannot go wrong at the Jewish Early Learning Center, Chabad in Merrick. 
Not only do they provide an amazing education but they leave no stone unturned, providing fun activities for every holiday and even emailing activities on snow days. I feel truly blessed to have come into contact with the Kramers.
Chabad is a great program for kids of all different types of Jewish Backgrounds!
