Dear Chabad Hebrew School Parents,

We are looking forward to soon celebrating the upcoming holiday of Chanukah, the great holiday of lights. Amongst the many exciting Chanukah events coming up, Chabad Hebrew School students will be performing a special Chanukah show on December 14th at The Chanukah Experience which takes place at the Merrick LIRR. This event begins at Chabad (2174 Hewlett Ave) at 3:30 pm with the Great Menorah Parade! This is a walking parade taking us to the Merrick LIRR at Merrick Ave. & Sunrise Highway. Upon arrival at the train station (3:45 pm), there will be the lighting of the 13 ft. menorah. At 4:00 pm, our CHS students will begin their amazing Chanukah performance. We expect all the performances to conclude by 4:30 pm. If your child would like to participate in the performance, we ask that they come to the Merrick LIRR at 3:30 pm in order to do a final rehearsal and be ready to perform immediately following the menorah lighting.

We are excited to be giving every single Hebrew school student the opportunity to be a star on stage. Any student who would like to participate in the performance will join rehearsals outside of Hebrew School time, in order to be able to prepare them for the show without missing out on learning time.

Rehearsals for the performance will take place from 4:30-5 pm on the following Wednesdays:

3. December 3
3. December 10
