A “mi sheberach” is a public prayer or blessing for an individual or group, most often recited in synagogue when the Torah is being read. Because it is not an officially mandated prayer, there is a lot of room for creativity regarding whom to bless or how they can be blessed. Thus, there are mi sheberachs for just about any person in need of some divine goodness—most notably for those requiring healing.
In an effort to maintain order and ease the process at our High Holiday services, we would like to compile a list of names in advance, to be mentioned in the Mi SheBerach.
Please scroll down to submit all the names you want mentioned. Please include the Hebrew name and Mother’s Hebrew name.
Please note that if a name is not on the list, it can still be mentioned at services. However we hope to streamline and ease the process by compiling the names ahead of time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
