Dear Friends,
I want to inform you of a very special opportunity for this upcoming summer. As you may know, Mayanot Birthright Israel is a program that sponsors FREE 10 day trips to Israel for 18-26 year old Jewish young adults. A trip to Israel is an important experience necessary for the development of any Jewish young adult. Mayanot Birthright understands this and their trips include a balanced itinerary that focuses on Israeli culture, Jewish history and Jewish religion, while sightseeing and most importantly having fun! Cities that are included in the itinerary are Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Tiberias, Tzfat as well as many others. Attractions include Rafting on the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, Masada, The Kotel, The Old City of Jerusalem and Yad Vashem. And this is all free!
Mayanot is a Chabad sponsored organization and the Chabad Center for Jewish Life fully endorses these trips. Mayanot sends thousands of young adults to Israel every year, and despite their every effort to increase their number of participants, demand for these trips is simply overwhelming.
Fortunately, we are blessed to have a fellow community member who is an alumni of Mayanot Birthright and can help our community members get a boost in the competitive application process! If you or a family member may have interest in the trip this summer please don’t delay as registration is alread open! Please e-mail [email protected] or call Raizy at 516-833-3057 and we will be happy to assist you.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Shimon Kramer
